The ‪@cityofvictoriabc‬ , a city in British Columbia, Canada came up with a great idea to support their #StrategyImplementation.

Basically, they created a program awarding community grants for projects that align with their 8 strategic priorities.

Once they outlined what they wanted to accomplish as a city, they thought they'd be able to make more progress with the help of the community than on their own. And so instead of having to do all of the heavy lifting themselves, they got help from the community.

The city had half a million dollars in funding, but this strategy could be implemented on a much smaller scale as well.

Not only will this idea help them move their strategic plan forward, but they'll have a chance to engage with the community at large. #CommunityEngagement #StakeholderEngagement
