The addition of Night Lights Denver to Supernova's roster of programming proved extremely beneficial following the trials presented as a result of the Covid19 pandemic in 2020. Denver Digerati managed to weather the storm somehow, pivoting in 2021 to a wider focus on outdoor presentations including a wide slate of programming across multiple LED screens as a focal component of that year's festival in what we called "Silent Screen." Artists were selected for Silent Screen based on their desire to create new animated works for specific frame formats for our LED screens, receiving curatorial recognition instead of financial compensation due to our limited, narrowing budget. We were able to maintain the robust stipend for the more rigorous NLD commissions as the funding component was supported directly by the Denver Theatre District for all artists involved in that initiative, with DD taking on the month of September as curators for that month's commissions.

The New You by Nick Flaherty was one of the eight animations created specifically for the facade and presented nightly in constant rotation with the others for Supernova "Regeneration." I worked on more developed documentation that year, showing the native clip in addition to documentation from the actual projection mapped presentation, as shown here.
