X-Men Mutant Insurrection Board Game - Overview and Solo Play Through

Описание к видео X-Men Mutant Insurrection Board Game - Overview and Solo Play Through

Pull up a chair! I'm playing the X-Men Mutant Insurrection board game. Let's roll dice, form some Bonds and hi-five ourselves to success... or not. I'm playing the Rise of the Sentinels mission.

Sorry I was having some audio/mic issues!

Turn on Klingon subtitles for updates/corrections.

BGG Score: 6.6/10

Pros:
- fun dice chucking game play, Yahtzee style
- a large selection of popular X-Men to choose from
- interesting Assist ability to promote team work and cooperative play
- Bonds and Mutant allies add variety to game play
- art work is nice
- component quality is good, but then again hard to mess up just cards for FF
- a good amount of missions to boost replay value
- nice standees are adequate for this type of game

Cons:
- this game works best with at least 4 characters which isn't ideal but still workable solo
- not enough dice!
- X-Jet feels gimmicky (but still cool)
- fidgety with swapping in Showdown cards, disrupting flow of the game
- Abilities, Bonds, Mutant allies don't really offer that much difference

Personal Verdict:
Content with it. Retail is overpriced, so find it on clearance.
