Kudremukha, with its varied landscapes, provides a wide selection of trekking trails. You can trek your way through the trails, cross streams and the jungles, while staying fascinated with the mesmerizing beauty of this place. Kudremukha is a small village located at a distance of 96 km from the district of Chikmagalur and about 335 km from Bangalore of Karnataka. Nestled in the Western Ghats, the forest is spread over an area of 600 sq km at an altitude of 1,894 m above sea level..

What Can we Expect:

Items to carry:
· Good pair of walking or trekking shoes/floaters. (Don’t try with new shoes in trek).
· A small back pack to carry your food, eatables and water. (We will have to leave unwanted luggage in the base camp. So carry a small backpack to use it for the trek)
· A good quality torch light with sufficient battery charge. (This is mandatory to use in our camp during night if needed)
· Some extra batteries just in case you run out of your battery charge in the middle of the trek. (Optional)
· Two 1 litre re-usable water bottles.
· Dry fit T shirt and Dry fit pants (Don’t wear Jeans pants for the trek unless you are fully comfortable / use flexible jeans).
· Take one/two sets of extra clothes for day 2 and return journey.
· A thick jacket or Sweater or Sweatshirt or bedsheet to protect yourself from the chilling cold during the night time.
· Personal medicines (if any).
· Cap and sun screen lotion (Optional)
· Camera(Optional) - Carry required gears to protect from possible rain.
· Rain coat/ Poncho/ Umbrella( There are good chances of rain. Bring it if you don’t want to get drenched, else enjoy in rain)
· Leech socks / A packet of Powder salt (To protect you from leeches).
· Toiletries (Shampoo, towel, toothpaste, tissue paper, etc.)
· A small bowl and spoon (For both food and drink)
· Carry one Photo ID proof. (Mandatory)
· Carry a softcopy of your vaccination certificate to be produced in forest office. (Mandatory)
· Extra cash INR 2000 for emergency purposes.
