And this one’s a copy of FuSoYa’s SHINRYU way back in January ! And man how you can notice the powercreep even on the stage that’s still quite close by lol we’ll see about the Spear / Throw one lmao

I digress, ANYWAY !

We’re up against the 2 Grudge Lords. Again. Their main mechanics are once again tied to their HP thresholds, so here goes :

90% : Uses Brace to jump turn to the front and follows it with Blood Slash+ to insta-KO one of our party members. This attack can’t be evaded / tanked so you just have to stun the enemy to prevent it from acting.

70% : Uses Drain Slash, which reduces one of our random party members’ HP to 10% of current HP, draining the HP dmg dealt in the process.

60% : Uses Brace and then Blood Slash+
50% : Uses Drain Slash
30% : Uses Drain Slash AND Brace / Blood Slash+ combo

Enemy Force Gauge effects are as follows :
0% : reduced Brv dmg taken
50% : greater reduced Brv dmg taken
60% : party’s attack is greatly lowered

Enemy Force Ability will have them move to the front of the turn order, followed by 6 turns of Force Time. During this time, the party will deal further reduced Brv dmg, and enemies will always use Malice Sword++ on their turns, AoE insta-KO ing the player party, for 3 turns in a row, it will stop after the third turn so you have to stun them again lol

Basically bring FuSoYa to stun lock the enemies, or just rush down in BT phase lol

So that’s what I did. Again. Lmaooo

He’s accompanied by Aerith and Laguna though, no biggie, the enemies are pretty squishy with the newer FR units honestly lol.

Be careful with too many debuffs pushing off FuSoYa’s paralysis with this party though, especially since I was bringing Seymour and Seifer CAs for extra delays, and they add up towards the debuff slots.

Friend Rem for extra safety and to replace FuSoYa bc I can’t with him lmao
