We continue our series of videos about climate change policies in California, but with awe inspiring examples. Our video focuses on two companies that produce electrical energy or vehicle fuels from recycling food waste or the carbon dioxide found in the air. All vehicle fuels that are now considered carbon neutral can be produced through carbon capture technology that makes it directly after it is sequestered from the air. Food waste is a huge problem across the country. Much of this could be composted but in certain circumstances, such as in the food processing industry, this food waste can be directly converted into electricity via Anaerobic Digester technology. This method is being used by an onion processing facility in California.
