**First Class 397** | On Test | Carlisle [HD]

The first daylight run of the new Transpennine Express Nova 2 class 397 No.397003 at Carlisle.

In this video we see:
1. Transpennine Express Nova 2 class 397 No.397003 arrives into Carlisle working 3C51 Crewe to Carlisle
2. Transpennine Express class 350 no.350409 departs Carlisle working 1M93 Edinburgh To Manchester Airport
3. Transpennine Express Nova 2 class 397 No.397003 departs Carlisle working 3H12 Carlisle To Crewe

This is the first time a class 397 has work to Carlisle Citadel Station this will be a normal sight later in the year

The new Transpennine Express class 397 Nova 2 train is due to be in service later in the year and will be used on the Manchester/Liverpool to Edinburgh/ Glasgow route via the West Coast Main Line these units are capable of 125mph and are fully electric!
