Downfall DLC: The Fold (Part 1)
We are back with the final episode of Absolver and the final Downfall DLC level, the Fold. At least the first part of the final episode. We re-connect with FreelyPhantom and begin our trek through the Adalian Mines, the Cave Temples, and finally to the Fold. The Fold is a more surreal landscape than we have seen before, with floating platforms, and ships in the sky. We make it through a lot, and when we are both hurting a little, died multiple times, and running on low health, the game disconnects us in the most bizarre way. We finish clearing a room of enemies, and just before heading into the new zone, my character teleports below the platform and stands there in mid air, before dying and respawning by myself. I'm able to head into the next room and clear the enemies, but then the next door will not open and I am stuck. We make the hard decision, and determine we have to start completely over, after about 45 minutes of gameplay. This is the reason this episode is split into two, but the next part we will skip the trek through the Adalian Mines and the Cave Temples, and pick up back in the Fold where we left off. We will see you there!
