What's an Erection? Why is My Penis Hard? (how to layer this answer at each age range)

Описание к видео What's an Erection? Why is My Penis Hard? (how to layer this answer at each age range)

Erections can happen early and often and your child with a penis may ask you why is their penis getting bigger or why is the penis hard? I explain how I would answer this question to a child in each age range and why it's also important to explain what's an erection to your child with a female reproductive system. What's an Erection? Many adults associate erections with sexual arousal, and while that may be one reason an adult or teen gets an erection, it is not a reason for children. Explaining why erections happen, what to do if a child gets an erection, and talking about this common and healthy bodily function with your child is important! If you aren't sure what to say - I give you simple scripts that you can use when having this sex talk with your kid.

'It's Time for the Sex Talk for Parents' is a channel designed for modern day parents who know that the sex talks aren't a one-time talk but continuous conversation starting in the toddler years. If you feel unprepared to have talks about sex with your child - subscribe and follow along as I bring you weekly videos designed to help you build your confidence in having the sex talks.

Your religious, cultural, and family values are an important aspect to the sex talks and I want you to include them in your talks with your child after providing medically-accurate and age-appropriate sex education first. Family values are an integral part to the sex talks with your child after you first explain the medically-accurate sexual health information in an age-appropriate way. Then, absolutely, you can include your family values.

What you will find in my videos:
🎓Peer-reviewed research & statistics that support the sex talks
