One of the many multiplayer playthroughs I've recorded in early July 2025.

It's been a tradition that at ESA Summer events, there's a couple of gaming sessions of Mario Kart Double Dash.

After the positive reception of my captured footage from ESA Summer 2024, I came back with not 1 but 4 PC-Free capture devices! So now you'll get to watch 4 times more content!

The early session I posted a few weeks ago was up to 16 players, so 2 players per console. The later session which happened after lunch had less players but still enough to get 8 Kart racers to take part most of the time, so ideally 1 player per kart.

The session was by far my longest one as you can see there were 56 races!

Between June 28th to July 5th, I was at an event in Sweden known as European Speedrunner Assembly Summer 2025, raising money towards Alzheimerfonden (Swedish Alzhimer's Foundation) where they raised over $55,000 towards the charity.


Special thanks goes to Hiddenpower13 who brought with him x8 Gamecube consoles all with GCLoader installed, x8 OFFICIAL Gamecube broadband adapters (they were bought sometime before 2017 which was before the retro price hike craze on ebay like sites), he has put a lot of dedication making these Mario Kart Double Dash LAN sessions possible.

This year we used a special hacked edition which allow all 8 consoles to have their own character duo/kart loadouts, no RNG this time.
