One day I’ll be good at keeping up and maintaining a social image, but alas, it’s not today

This is actually the very first thing I made in GarageBand ever. It was for a class assignment, the criteria essentially being "make something." It was more an assignment to get you familiar with the program than make anything musically complex, but I like the end product anyway

I was told by a friend that it reminded her of twenty one pilots, which I didn’t listen to at the time, but I do now and I consider it to be high praise

I do have to thank my brother for pushing me on this one, I came to multiple places where I was pretty satisfied with it, but every time I showed him it, he always responded with a “is that it,” or “I feel like there should be more, it sounds like it’s building up to something.” That constant pushing resulted in me constantly rethinking how to make it better, how to add on, how to mix things up, even in a limited space as this, so um, thanks

The drum beat came first, as usual

The chords were next, my thought process was “let’s come up with four chords that sound good, then work within that”

Which is sorta kinda how I do everything now
