Popular Tsurumi Flagship Series: KTZ Submersible Pumps now also with 22kW Motor Output!

Our popular #Tsurumi submersible pumps of the KTZ series are now also available with two new 22 kW models! The product range previously included units between 1.5 and 15 kW motor power.

The new models are available in two versions: 4 inch (KTZ422) and 6 inch (KTZ622). Both pumps have a maximum head of 72.5 m and a maximum flow rate of 4 m3/min. With their cast iron casing and high-chrome cast iron impeller, they are built to be particularly durable and wear-resistant.

Due to the lateral upper outlet, the KTZ can also be installed in confined spaces.

Like the entire KTZ range, the new 22 kW models are also suitable for tough, reliable continuous operation. They feel particularly at home in harsh working environments such as #mining, quarries, construction and #tunneling sites.

These are the most important features of the compact and robust submersible pumps:

1. Multi-directional hose coupling.
Can be configured for inclined or vertical discharge, allowing for smoother installation.

2. Anti-wicking cable entry
Prevents #water incursion due to capillary action should the cable sheath be damaged or the end of cable submerged. Also prevents moist air from infiltrating the motor housing and condensation from forming inside the housing due to temperature differences between the housing and outside air.

3. Dual inside mechanical seals.
Isolated in the oil chamber where a clean, non-corrosive and abrasion-free lubricating environment is maintained. Compared with the water-cooled outside mechanical seal, it reduces the risk of failure caused by dry-heating and adhering matter. The silicon carbide provides 5 times higher corrosion, wear and heat resistance than the tungsten carbide.

4. Oil lifter
Provides lubrication and cooling of the seal faces down to 1/3 of normal oil level, thus maintaining a stable shaft sealing effect and prolonging seal life longer. The Oil Lifter is Tsurumi original design.

5. Seal pressure relief ports
Protect the mechanical seal from pump pressure. They also protect the seal face by discharging wear particles.

6. High-chromium cast Iron semi-open impeller
Resists wear caused by abrasive particles and enables the pump to maintain its original performance for an extended period of time.
