• There is now a direct train running from Delhi To Katra for #vaishnodeviyatra initially devotees need to travel from Jammu to Katra by road.
• We booked our online YATRA PARCHI from the Vaishno Devi Shrine board website https://www.maavaishnodevi.org/. You can also book online or visit the Yatra Slip registration counter located next to Katra bus stand.
• First stoppage is koul kandoli mandir, located at around 20 km before Katra, at Nagrota town, Jammu.
• 2nd stop is at Maa Mai mandir located just 3 km from Katra town.
• After reaching Katra, we booked our room for ardhkuwari. We went to Shrine Board booking office located behind Katra Bus stand.
• Here, you can book rooms in the Niharika complex, Katra or also book your rooms at Ardhkuwari or Main bhawan through shrine board site maa #vaishnodeviyatra

• Helicopter ticket counter is also located in the Niharika complex Rs 1830 (one-way) and Rs 3660 (Both ways)
• Devotees can also book helicopter tickets online from the website https://www.maavaishnodevi.org/
• Private hotels are also available in the Katra, and some of them also offer free pick and drop services to their guests from Katra to Banganga.
• We hired an auto from Katra to Banganga with a full-reserved charge of Rs.210.
• At Banganga, the Yatra slip taken at Yatra registration counter is checked and devotees start their journey on foot to main bhawan.
• At Banganga, we also ate Gulshan Kumar Langar organized since the year 1996.
• Devotees can also take pony rides or prams for their kids. The charges are as follows:
PONY CHARGES: From Katra to Ardhkuwari Rs. 650 and From Katra till Bhawan Rs. 1250

PALKI CHARGES:Rs 1800 (Katra To Ardhkuwari) and Rs 3100 (Katra to Bhawan)

PRAM CHARGES: Rs. 340 (Katra to Ardhkuwari) and Rs. 540 ( Katra to Bhawan)

• There are also bathing ghats at Banganga where devotees can take refreshing baths
• From Banganga, there are two ways to go, one is from old route is from Banganga to Ardhkuwari (5.5 km) while the second is Tarakote to Ardhkuwari ( 7 Km)
• Ardhkuwari will come in both the ways. From Ardhkuwari, devotees can also hire BATTERY CARS at a cost of Ardhkuwari To Bhawan (Rs. 350) and Bhawan to Ardhkuwari Rs 236.
• The bookings for the Battery cars are done at Ardhkuwari. Or by online
• Garbh Joon Gufa tickets are also taken at Ardhkuwari, but during rush seasons, it’s a waiting of 24-30 hours. So, devotees can go to Bhawan and on return, can pay respects at Garbh Joon Cave.
• We rested at Night in Ardhkuwari in a dormitory room and began our journey uphill at 1:00 AM at night.
• Himkoti is the centre point between Ardhkuwari and Bhawan and Bhojnalayas are present at important points that are open 24*7 for the devotees
we reach bhawan at 4:30 am and have good darshan of mata ji. try to avoid reach during aarti time because of heavy rush
then we go for bhairon baba temple by walk
ropeway is also available . ticket price 100 to and fro . ticket valid for six hours
