Meet a ‘Wine Mom’ Turned ‘Sober Curious’

Kaitlin joined the sober curious movement after breaking her foot and deciding that she wasn’t going to drink while she was on crutches, but taking a drinking break was harder than she thought it was going to be. Kaitlin describes herself as being in a grey area, her drinking was not healthy, but it was also not out or her control. She found the sober curious community, which has helped her with being alcohol-free for the past 8 months. Dr. Drew says Kaitlin’s story gives him chills because it proves that the solution to substance use is inter-personal support.
