Welche Probleme gab es in dieser Zeit?
Nur Kleinigkeiten die nicht ein Mal ein weiterkommen behinderten. Der Unimog ist ein robustes Fahrzeug ohne Elektronik und deshalb das ideale Fahrzeug für Fahrten in Werkstattarme Gegenden.
Der Unimog ist ein Geländefahrzeug und als Arbeitsgerät konzipiert. Viele andere Geländefahrzeuge sind aus dem zivilen Bereich und wurden zum Geländefahrzeug aufgebessert.
Besonders ist beim Unimog, dass er Portalachsen hat. Dies setzt dass, die Bodenfreiheit bestimmende Differenzial, um einiges höher. Die Bodenfreiheit beim Unimog beträgt 440 mm. Da liegen vergleichbare Fahrzeuge weit drunter.

Just little things that didn't even get in the way. The Unimog is a robust vehicle without electronics and is therefore the ideal vehicle for trips to areas with few workshops.
The Unimog is an off-road vehicle and designed as a work tool. Many other off-road vehicles are from the civilian sector and have been upgraded to off-road vehicles.
What is special about the Unimog is that it has portal axles. This puts the differential, which determines the ground clearance, a lot higher. The ground clearance of the Unimog is 440 mm. Comparable vehicles are way below that.
