FreeCAD Beginners Modelling Craft Project Simple Cardboard Elephant Pen holder Part Design Tutorial

Learn how to create a 3D Elephant pen holder in FreeCAD but you don't need a 3D Printer. We will print this to paper and use it as a template to cut it out in card, slotting it together to make a physical object. This is a beginner craft project in which we will learn how to use FreeCAD Part Design Workbench to model each part using multi-body modelling along with subshape binders and part design clones and then learn how to export this out either for 3D Printing or for normal paper-based print. We will convert the 3D object into a 2D form and print as a template. Learn basic sketcher WB skills to create the sketch for the interlocking parts and draft workbench skills to manipulate and flatten into a 2D object unwrapping each body as a flat 2D shape to be compatible with inkscape allowing us to print and construct.
