After 4 months of backpacking, here are our most underrated travel items and why each made our list:

🃏 Deck of Cards: An easy way to pass the time during long waits or chill nights. Not to mention, both Keeg and I are SO competitive that we’ve played over 350 games so far and we keep track of EVERY win!

📔 Travel Journal: We never thought we’d use it as much as we do, but jotting down memories and experiences has become an essential part of our journey. It will be so special to look back on.

🎒Carabiners: We use these for our extra sneakers but they’ve also come in handy with wet bathing suits and towels on travel days!

🧢 Washable Hats: Sun protection and practicality in one. After a few sweaty days in the sun, this has been a lifesaver - easy to wash and dries quickly. Our fav is @cieleathletics

☕️ Coffee Packets: Lets be honest.. nobody loves instant coffee but it’s convenient and saves lots of money of daily cups of coffee!

📚 Kindle: Since I (Sam) read multiple books a month, and I honestly never thought I’d prefer a Kindle over a physical book. But since traveling, it makes so much sense - it’s small, packable, and lightweight, plus the battery lasts forever! Keeg does get jealous that he doesn’t have one….

We are honestly surprised at how much we rely on these daily!
