2 UK Premieres I was lucky enough to see at the Glasgow Film Festival, Undergods and Mads Mikkelsen’s new film, Riders of Justice

UNDERGODS
Underdogs was written and directed by Chino Moya and stars a few names you may not know but several faces you might recognise such as Geza Rohrig from Son of Saul, Ned Dennehy from Peaky Blinders and Kate Dickie from Game of Thrones.

Undergods is an otherworldly journey through a Europe in decline – a collection of darkly humorous, fantasy tales about ill-fated characters and doomed fortunes.

RIDERS OF JUSTICE
Riders of Justice or Retfærdighedens Ryttere to use its original Danish title was written and directed by Anders Thomas Jensen

And it stars everyone’s favourite Dane, Mads Mikkelsen, plus Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Andrea Heick Gadeberg, Lars Brygmann and Nicolas Bro.

On edge soldier Markus returns home after a tragic accident tears apart his family. His particular set of skills are brought into use as a maths geek also involved in the accident suggests to Markus that it wasn’t an accident at all.
