We Found The Best Way To Spend A Weekend At Redfish Lake In The Sawtooth Mountains!

In this video, we take you to Redfish Lake in the heart of the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley, Idaho. We visit Redfish Lake Lodge and take you on two hiking adventures. The first is to the Bench Lakes, a series of 5 lakes set high in the Sawtooths. From the Bench Lakes, we have to hike further than we thought to catch the shuttle boat back to the Redfish Lake Marina, but make it in time. The next hike is to Alpine Lake and the Continental Divide. On this hike, we catch the shuttle boat in the morning and proceed on a 18 mile out and back hike to Alpine Lake, and then continue to almost 10,000 feet elevation and the Continental Divide, where the stunning views and high elevation leave us breathless. On our way back, we have some fun close calls with the tanker planes fighting nearby forest fires. Come along as we explore Redfish Lake and the Sawtooths!
