Egypt’s new administrative capital that will be the game changer for the country.

The New Administrative Capital is a large-scale project in Egypt that has been under construction since 2015. It was announced by then-Egyptian housing minister Moustafa Madbouly at the Egypt Economic Development Conference on 13 March 2015.The new city is to be located 28 miles east of Cairo and just outside the Second Greater Cairo Ring Road, seaport city of Suez. According to the plans, the city will become the new administrative and financial capital of Egypt, housing the main government departments and ministries, as well as foreign embassies. On 270 sq mitotal area, it would have a population of 6.5 million people, though it is estimated that the figure could rise to seven million. The government sector will include 36 buildings. One will be for the parliament, one for the cabinet and 34 for different ministries. The first stage will cost LE30 billion, excluding infrastructure. Around 60,000 government employees will be relocated to the New Administrative Capital. new Administrative Capital is set to include many mega-projects, some of which will be the first of their kind in Egypt. The city will feature skyscrapers, mosques with great architecture, Middle East’s largest cathedral, a 22-mile-long urban park representing River Nile, international airport and The Octagon which will be the headquarter for military operations. purpose-built cities, transportation train is being built which will link this city to Cairo. The line will start from Adly Mansour Station at Al Salam City on Cairo Metro Line 3 and will split into two branches at Robeiky.
This city is part of Egypt’s Vision of 2030.

On the other hand, all remaining countries in the region were projected to see negative growth in 2020, with a rebound to 2.2 percent growth in 2021

As of 2020, Egypt's military ranks among the top 10 strongest worldwide, ranking first in both Africa and the Middle East.
