My video covers what I had to do to get Big Sur downloaded and installed on a Late 2012 MacBook pro.

Download Patched Sur: https://github.com/Ben216k/Patched-Sur

Follow the prompts, select your install media or download one of the available installers.
Create your install media then reboot holding Alt.
First select the yellow EFI boot option, it will immediately reboot, press Alt again then Install macOS Big Sur and follow the prompts.
When installation is complete, run Patched Sur again to patch drivers.
