Leica Summilux-M 50mm ASPH f/1.4 review

Описание к видео Leica Summilux-M 50mm ASPH f/1.4 review

In this video, I talk about my experience with the legendary Leica Summilux 50mm ASPH.

With the release of the V II summilux-m 50mm f/1.4 asph some of my complaints have been addressed, such as the shapely bokeh, but in many scenarios I would say the original is still a fantastic option!

Thank you to Leica Store Miami for the opportunity to use this lens.
A quick addition, many Leica lenses often include brass parts but I believe (at the time at least) the silver Summilux ASPH was made mostly of brass while the black anodized version had less brass parts, thus the weight discrepancy.

Although I mentioned using the Summilux ASPH on the Leica m3, at the time of filming I could not 100% verify if certain film photos were taken with the Summilux ASPH or not. I decided not to included them, and if I get a chance to verify this I will put a link to the film photos.

Talking head portion of this video filmed on the equally legendary Kowa Cine Prominar 32mm (by means of a sony a7s in apsc crop and ninja v recorder)
