Other facilities and concessionaires are at the Yosemite Valley Lodge, places to eat, gift and sundry store, visitors information and tour center, bike rentals and access to other valley areas by free valley shuttle.

The rooms facing the mountains above the valley floor are the best view.

A short hike from the Lodge will also take you to Yosemite Falls.

If you want the best general store, find it at Yosemite Village which is accessible from Yosemite Valley Lodge by park shuttle or walkable for those who like exercise.
