In this week's short, Marshal Davout teaches #napoleonbonaparte that even though he wins battles, his soldiers can still die from various unpleasant factors.

During the #napoleonicwars, Napoleon's Old Guard were his most experienced soldiers. They (initially) needed to be 35 years of age with ten years of experience in the battle field. Unfortunately, experience levels went into decline when most started to die off. (I wonder why?)

The Young Guard consisted of the best new intake of conscripts and volunteers. As the wars raged on, the service and age requirement become less and less....
