CAMPERVAN CONVERSION: How to install a MONSTER off grid 12V and 230V electrical system.

Hi everyone,

This week im installing a MONSTER electrical system from VICTRON energy in my van. It gives me unlimited power in summer and (for my needs) also unlimited power in the winter. I have a full 12V system and also a 230V system including a hook up and an inverter charger for when im using a campsite or hook up point.

Ive used the following all from Victron:

VICTRON DC DC 30A Charger
VICTRON MPPT Solar Charge Controller
VICTRON Multiplus Inverter / Charger.
VICTRON Smart Battery Protect
VICTRON Smart Shunt
FOGSTAR 230AH Lithoium Battery

This week FINALLY ive finished the electrics - by far the longest job on the van to date. Not to sure if that’s because i already have my furniture or because it generally takes a lot of tools and a long time.
