In this video, we demonstrate how to create a Y hang using a figure of eight with bunny ears, a common rope access rigging method used to share load evenly between two anchor points.

The technique begins by identifying the middle of the rope and tying a figure of eight on the bite with a large loop. The loop is then manipulated to form two equal loops (bunny ears), creating a load-sharing configuration suitable for twin anchors. The process is repeated on the opposite side of the rope to ensure the system is supported by two independent knots and two anchor points, providing redundancy and stability.

This method is widely used in rope access to create balanced anchor systems where load distribution and safety are critical.
