A Just Cause's (AJC) 7th Day of Protesting...

AJC, a nonprofit organization is protesting and demanding the immediate release of remaining Wrongly Convicted #IRP5 in Colorado: David Banks and David Zirpolo.

President Donald Trump signed into law the First Step Act on December 21, 2018. The remaining #IRP5 became eligible under the #FirstStepAct and should have been released to home confinement in January 2020!

So, why are they still in Florence Prison Camp? It's because Warden Holzapfel defied directives given by President Donald Trump in regard to the First Step Act and refused to release them! Warden Elizabeth Carter continues to defy other directives issued by President Trump and his administration!

Recently on April 7th, David Banks and David Zirpolo both signed paperwork to be released to home confinement due to the order given by AG Barr to help reduce the COVID-19 outbreak occurring at an alarming rate in prisons all over the United States! Again, Warden Carter openly defies President Trump refusing to release these men and other inmates approved to be released to home confinement!

AJC will never stop advocating for our 2 Brothers and other inmates and their families, who've been told that they were being released and are still being held hostage by Wardens all over the United States, who refuses to comply with this order to release inmates to home confinement!

We're asking President Donald Trump to Pardon the Wrongly Convicted #IRP5 and put an end to this 15 years nightmare for these five men and their families!
