I found five three person tents under 3 pounds that will lighten your pack and allow you to cover more miles and still have a roomy tent. I even found one budget friendly ultralight 3 person tent at only $369. I’ll walk you through the features of each of the 5 ultralight 3 person tents and tell you why I decided to purchase the Zpacks triplex rather than the Big Agnes Tiger Wall 3 Platinum, Big Agnes Tiger Wall 3 Carbon, MSR Carbon Reflex 3, and Tarptent Rainshadow 3. I should also note that the “ultralight” Nemo Dagger 3 is much heavier than all of these tents at 4 lbs 4 oz (each of the 5 tents in this video are less than three pounds!).
