Описание к видео Rainbow Voices of Aotearoa New Zealand: A Documentary Short Film | NZ Parliament

From staring down thousands of protestors, to Parliament narrowly passing bills giving fundamental rights to LGBTQ+ people, this documentary showcases personal stories of New Zealand’s turbulent Rainbow history. To celebrate the reopening of the ‘Rainbow Room’ at New Zealand Parliament, we spoke with parliamentarians and community members – to hear the stories of those who fought for and won significant change, and to hear about their impact today.
