Rainbow Connection! A beautiful song written for the 1979 film, The Muppet Movie, written by Paul Williams & Kenneth Ascher. Performed by the legendary Kermit the Frog!

The song has since been covered/performed by many artists, including: Barbara Streisand, Sarah McLachlan, Johnny Mathis, Gwen Stefani, Boyz 2 Men....and there's a very sweet duet of Kermit and Debbie Harry crooning this little gem on The Muppet Show in 1981.

I really struggled with the key change, in particular, with trying to get my fingers around the dreaded Ab chord. Arrgh! In the end, I did a sort of dumbed down version of Ab...not the sweetest sounding chord, but I hope it's at least somewhat passable!

This one is a special dedication for my dear pal, Betsy, who suggested it to me a while ago. Bets...I hope you'll enjoy my uke version of this Kermit classic!
