First Time In Jakarta - First Impressions | Glodok Chinatown 🇮🇩

Описание к видео First Time In Jakarta - First Impressions | Glodok Chinatown 🇮🇩

We explored Glodok Pancoran, Jakarta's busy Chinatown and we were shocked... We thought it will just be another Indonesian Street Food Tour but it was so much more.

Our friend Gia, who is a Jakartan local, introduced us to a very rare dish, existing only here in Jakarta. It is thought to be a medicine to make your skin glow (the guy serving us said). Other than that, we explored Jakarta's villages and its alleys and tried more strange things in the area and had a fun day filled with food, culture and adventure.

ABOUT US: We are Gwynne and Patrick, traveling Indonesia with our scooter. After living in Bali during the Pandemic, it was time to see more of this wonderful country, so we got a bike and ventured out from Bali to cross Java. We totally fell in love with this country and we want to see as much as we can: In our Indonesia vlog here we are trying Indonesian food, documenting Indonesian culture and so much more! By the way: Patrick is from Germany and is doing his best to learn Bahasa Indonesia. Please let him know what you think about his speaking skills.
