Kokanee are one of the most popular fish in the western United States and for good reason. They taste great and provide tons of fun for young and old anglers alike. However, as they inhabit deep mountain lakes they often live at great depths. Many Kokanee anglers rely on downriggers to reach these fish but they are not necessary to catch these fish.
