UP ATS on April 03 arrested three terrorists, who were illegally entering India through Indo-Nepal border. The terrorists were trying to enter India with forged documents and were being helped by Pakistan’s ISI. The UP ATS averted a ‘terror plot’ and the action was taken after receiving intel for continuous days. As per the UP Police press release, the terrorists intended to carry out terrorist activities in India. The arrested terrorists have been identified as Mohammed Altaf Bhat, Sayyid Ghaznir, and Nasser Ali. Out of 3 arrested terrorists, one of them took training at Hizbul Mujahideen’s camp in Muzaffarabad. A cache of items has been recovered from terrorists which included two cellphones, fake passports, Aadhaar cards, and foreign currency.
