DIY. How to replace wiper blades on a Tesla Model S. This video shows you how to replace the wiper blades on a Model S. We are doing this on our 2013 Tesla Model S 85 that has already 200,000 miles on it. It desperately needs the wiper blades replaced as those on the car leave streaks and make it impossible to see. We purchased Michelin wiper blades from Costco since Tesla was out of stock and the Costco wiper blades are much cheaper and were on sale. These Michelin blades are a good quality wiper blade that we have used on other cars before. Tesla sells Bosch brand blades, which are currently on the car. These are tricky to remove and take some finger strength and wiggling to get them removed. The Michelins had the correct adapter installed on them and were easy to slide on and lock into place.
