Same Recipe for 3 Different Breads for Your Bread Machine

Let’s get those bread machines out on the counter and put them to work especially during this busy season. The recipes in this video are made from the same basic recipe with one loaf having one substitution for the oil. They can all be made in one day while you work around the house doing chores and even running out for errands. The basic recipe is below. This recipe is also great for a single loaf of plain white bread with no further additions.

Basic Bread Recipe

1 cup warm water
2 TBSPS sugar
2 ¼ tsps fast rise yeast
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
3 cups flour

For the French Bread add 2 tsps of Italian seasoning to the basic recipe.

For the Cheese Bread after the dough has finished its cycle roll it into a rectangle and add 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese. Roll it up and then split it lengthwise. Twist the two pieces together and then into a loaf pan. Let rise 30-40 minutes and then bake in a 375-degree oven for about 35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 190 degrees.

For the Garlic Bread replace the oil in the dough with softened butter. Once the dough is ready spread it into a rectangle and cover it with a mixture of ½ cup softened butter and 1 ½ TBSPS of chopped garlic. Roll as if you were making a cinnamon bun and then cut the roll into ½ inch slices. Lift the whole thing into a greased loaf pan and set aside to rise 30-40 minutes. Bake in a 375-degree oven for about 35 minutes.
