I don´t often do play alongs, but I thought in this case, what the heck.

Here´s Steve Howe´s incredible solo from one of the many greatest shows Yes ever done. Wembley Arena 1978. It was broadcast on the BBC Radio on a two hour show called ´The Friday Night Rock Show with Tommy Vance`. I wore the cassette out, the amount of times I played this recording. So for those of you who were never lucky enough to see what Steve Howe played during his solo, here it is ( with a couple of mistakes ) As they knew it was a live radio show, they shortened this version, solo wise, compared to other shows where Steve and Rick would trade licks during the ´Wurm`section. They kept it short to make space for other songs - hence `The Big Medley`. Enjoy, its a lot of fun to play and features Steve at his cheekiest and most brazen. I´m playing this through a little Yamaha THR amp on my desk, and filmed it on an ipad - so take it for what it is.
