Ambleside Lake District UK | village 4K walking tour

A walk around the popular village of Ambleside in the Lake District of England.

It's Sunday afternoon, it's summer and it's not raining, so there are quite a few crowds as we amble around the town.

We start at the famous bridge house. This is a tiny 17th century building, originally an apple store, and built over the river to avoid land taxes! At one time a family with six children lived in the two rooms. It's now owned by the National Trust.

We then continue through the hustle and bustle of the tourists, and take a turn down a less used alley to see a dinosaur and a unicorn!

Finally we make our way back to the start. A short walk around a very popular Lake District destination.
