The Racket Squad - Corners Of Your Mind 1969 FULL ALBUM

Highlights include the opener, "Ain't Nobody Gonna Love You"; a track similar in style to what they issued on their self titled effort but done here with a menacing vibe and some nice fuzz. "Sweet Little Smoke" is a cool, atmospheric psych track with a falsetto chorus that sticks and makes it work. Their cover of "Get Out Of My Life Woman" isn't that different from the several other covers that you've heard of this track, but it's performed well. "Suburban Life" is a cool, garage rock track. "Corners of Your Mind" and "You Turn Me On" both show the band melding psychedelia with their soul pop kind of leanings and coming up with something unique. There's nothing wrong with their cover of "Little Wing" and what follows, "The Minstrel" is another very strong psych track.
