The No. 21 Duke Blue Devils held off a hard-fighting Hofstra Pride in the two teams' first-ever meeting, 89-68. Kyle Filipowski had an incredible game, finishing with a game-high 28 points on 10-16 shooting, including 4-7 from three-point range. The big man also grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out 8 assists and blocked 3 shots in the win. As a team, Jon Scheyer's club assisted on 22 of their 33 made field goals and won the points in the paint battle over head coach Speedy Claxton's Pride 40-16.
