In the 2019 Assembly Election, Rajiv Awale (NCP) retained the seat with 1,10,586 votes (~49.92%), defeating Dhairyashil Mane (Shiv Sena), who received 94,441 votes (~42.60%) — a margin of 16,145 votes.

In the 2014 Assembly Election, Rajiv Awale also emerged victorious with 96,508 votes (~47.35%), defeating Ramesh Katkar (BJP), who secured 83,912 votes (~41.13%).
