2 Ways to Burr a Round Base out of Sheet Metal

Описание к видео 2 Ways to Burr a Round Base out of Sheet Metal

If you want to prepare a round circle with a burr to take a lap seam (or even a crimp seam, actually), you can do it two ways: with the burring machine or by hand.

Even with the burring machine, though, you'll want to use a tinsmith's stake or a piece of PVC pipe clamped to a bench to help you smooth out the burr's 90-degree angle.

And if you only have a pliers and a hammer (and ideally something like PVC pipe or something with the shape of your circumference) there's a way to do it by hand as well that isn't just eyeballing your burr.

Hope this is helpful!
