Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan has offered money from his own wallet to a Black Lives Matter protest organiser during a fierce debate over whether King Charles III should apologise and pay reparations for Britain's historical racism.

Mr Morgan debated BLM activist and organiser Imarn Ayton where the pair engaged in an intense exchange over whether reparations should be paid for the sins of colonialism.

Ms Ayton said the Crown is fundamentally a white supremacist institution and that its legacy includes "racism", "colonialism" and "slavery".

Mr Morgan offered the contents of his pocketbook to show that he believed monetary compensation was not the solution to combat racism.

"Imarn, how much money do you want from me?," Mr Morgan said.

The pair were joined in the debate by historian Tessa Dunlop and former butler to Princess Diana, Paul Burrell.
