Meghann Mayfield, a graduate of Arizona State University’s Bachelor of Nursing program, decided she wanted to further her education and obtain a master’s degree. Mayfield was living in Denver and looked at local schools, but after researching her options her heart was set on going back to ASU, this time online. “At ASU, I got to meet with a professor. I got to meet with other people involved. There was an interview process that I attended and they were really more focused on what I wanted and my journey,” Mayfield explained. After earning her Master of Science in Nursing online from ASU, Mayfield reflected on her decision. ”The faculty are amazing. they definitely care about being a nurse and their patients and the next generation of nursing.” She added, “I started my educational journey at Arizona State University, and I wanted to come back because of the quality of the school, the top ratings that the school has and the sense of community. It makes me proud to have come back here. With a master's degree now I have more opportunities being able to be an educator and a clinical leader.”
