Cobblestone streets line the path ahead of you, as you wend your way through the fractured remains of a long forgotten city. You pull your cloak tightly against your chest, the sudden downpour from above chilling you to the bone.

In the distance, a lone tower rises out of the crumbling ruins - a welcome shelter from the rain. You drag your sodden, shivering form up the tower steps, shuffling your leaden legs higher and higher. At the very top you are met with a massive oaken door, surprisingly well kept and out of place in such a derelict tower.

The door creaks opens, and you are greeted by soft music, sumptuous smells of supper, and the warm smile of an elderly woman. “Dear me, come in, come in, you are chilled to the bone!”

She beckons you further inwards, “Come sit by the fire, and warm yourself. You are safe here.”
