In 2024, Moody Gardens partnered with Ecology Project International (EPI) and Pacuare Reserve in Costa Rica as part of our ongoing mission to support global conservation efforts. As part of this collaboration, we welcomed Lola Crassard, a Wildlife Monitoring Technician from Pacuare Reserve, to share her experiences and insight with our guests.
Lola delivered an engaging presentation at the Moody Gardens 3D Theater, highlighting her fieldwork with sea turtles, felines, primates, and the elusive Agami Heron. This video offers a recap of one of her two informative lectures, giving viewers a closer look at the vital conservation work happening in the coastal regions of Costa Rica.
⭐We hope you find this presentation as inspiring and educational as we did.
Our partnership with Pacuare Reserve includes funding assistance for conservation projects, staffing, and research. This support is vital for expanding the conservation efforts focused on the rare and magnificent Agami Heron, among other species.
