Whole Wheat Biscuit

Servings - 3

INGREDIENTSGhee - 80 milliliters
Powdered sugar - 60 grams
Whole wheat flour - 150 grams
Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
Milk - 60 milliliters

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 80 milliliters ghee, 60 grams powdered sugar and mix it well.
2. Add 150 grams whole wheat flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1/8 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
3. Add 60 milliliters milk and knead it into a dough.
4. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of your fingers to make a biscuit.
5. Make a pattern with the help of a fork. (See Video)
6. Place it on a baking tray.
7. Preheat the oven to 320°F/160°C. Bake for about 15 - 20 minutes.
8. Remove it from oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
9. Serve or store in airtight container.

Coconut Biscuit

Servings - 3

INGREDIENTSButter - 70 milliliters
Powdered sugar - 120 grams
All purpose flour - 150 grams
Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Desiccated coconut - 20 grams
Milk - 50 milliliters
Desiccated coconut - 50 grams

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 70 milliliters butter, 120 grams powdered sugar and mix it well.
2. Add 150 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 20 grams desiccated coconut and mix it well.
3. Add 50 milliliters milk and knead it into a dough.
4. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of your fingers to make a biscuit.
5. Then, coat it in desiccated coconut properly.
6. Place it on a baking tray.
7. Preheat the oven to 320°F/160°C. Bake for about 15 - 20 minutes.
8. Remove it from oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
9. Serve or store in airtight container.

Almond Nankhatai

Servings - 4

INGREDIENTSAll purpose flour - 200 grams
Gram flour - 40 grams
Powdered sugar - 120 grams
Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Cardamom powder - 1/8 teaspoon
Ghee - 120 milliliters
Almonds - 2 tablespoons, divided

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 40 grams gram flour, 120 grams powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/8 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it well.
2. Add 120 milliliters ghee and mix it well.
3. Then, add 1 tablespoon almonds and knead it into a dough.
4. Take a ball from dough and roll it into a nankhatai.
5. Add a piece of almond on top of it.
6. Place it on a baking tray.
7. Preheat the oven to 300°F/150°C. Bake for about 30 - 35 minutes.
8. Remove it from oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
9. Serve or store in airtight container.

Nankhatai

Servings - 4

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 150 grams
Gram flour - 30 grams
Semolina - 40 grams
Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
Powdered sugar - 120 grams
Ghee - 120 milliliters
Almonds - 1 tablespoon
Pistachios - 1 tablespoon

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except almonds and pistachios.
2. Knead it into a dough.
3. Take a ball from dough and roll it into a nankhatai.
4. Add a piece of almond on top of it.
5. Place it on a baking tray.
6. Preheat the oven to 350°F/175°C. Bake for about 18 - 20 minutes.
7. Remove it from oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
8. Serve or store in airtight container.
