At the Geneva Motor Show, Pininfarina’s chief interior creative, J. B. Vieria, presented the Foxconn Model B, an all-electric, B-segment crossover conceived for Taiwan and wider Asian markets. The concept merges Pininfarina’s Italian styling discipline with Foxconn’s ambition to scale automotive manufacturing, signalling a new collaboration between boutique design and consumer-electronics-grade production muscle https://www.pininfarina.it

Inside, the cabin is defined by a continuous ribbon of soft blue ambient illumination that “wraps” around occupants, visually unifying doors, dash and console. A freestanding, tablet-like central screen anchors a pared-back cockpit, while simplified surfacing and carefully graded materials aim to deliver a premium impression without compromising the efficiencies required for high-volume manufacturing. The result is a relaxing yet connected interior.

Exterior cues echo the earlier Model E: a full-width light signature, taut clamshell, and an aerodynamic profile that fits seamlessly within Pininfarina’s formal language. Sleek bodywork tapers towards the rear to reduce drag, and crossover-style ride-height plus protected sills underline urban versatility. Proportionally, the vehicle targets the compact-hatch customer yet uses clever packaging to secure generous cabin geometry.

Although still a concept, production intent is explicit. Foxconn’s factories—best known for assembling smartphones—will adapt their modular EV tool-chain to this crossover, while Pininfarina continues to fine-tune trim, colour and perceived quality. A launch window of roughly two years has been suggested, positioning Model B as a case study in marrying Italian design rigour with large-scale electronics-style production pipeline.
