Rohit Sharma-led the Indian Cricket Team leaves Delhi to take part in an open bus parade in Mumbai. The parade will be attended by throngs of ecstatic fans, and will culminate in a small ceremony at the stadium itself.

Earlier today, India's T20 World Cup Team received a heroes’ welcome as they landed in Delhi four days after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday (June 29). The team which got stuck in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl finally reached India this morning. They received a warm welcome by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who addressed the entire team and congratulate them for their remarkable victory as Team India defeated Team South Africa by 7 runs in a thriller finale played at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. The only other time the Men in Blue had won the showpiece event was in 2007, the inaugural edition of the mega event. With this victory, India won their first ICC title in eleven years, having previously won the Champions Trophy title in 2013.
