FLATSAX in F.
My newest instrument (February 2018) is the #Flatsax that I've made with plywood and 12mm x 12mm pine. It has a conical flat rectangular bore and plays chomatically from the F below middle C up to the D an octave and a sixth higher. So it's a tone higher than an alto sax (using a soprano sax mouthpiece). I've also designed a soprano version at the same pitch as a soprano sax.
In this recording I am using a PiezoBarrel.com pickup and the backing track is from the #iTablaPro app.
