The 88th Annual East L.A. Classic kicked off Friday night at East Los Angeles College, a matchup typically attended by tens of thousands every year. Football players from Theodore Roosevelt High School and James A. Garfield High School faced off for the ultimate bragging right.

Although the Roosevelt Rough Riders won last year, the Garfield Bulldogs secured the win on Friday night, 49-16.
